Have you ever noticed how quickly and extremely the construction paper masterpieces that are brought home from school fade into grays and tans? A beautiful orange sun becomes a sad light peach ball in just a few months unless they are kept in total darkness -- and who wants to hide those creations away for decades? The process we use can never compensate for the inexpensive, acidic papers that are used by schools -- but we can slow that aging process down dramatically, allowing the art to be enjoyed in the meantime. :)
