Fall is in the Air!

There is that intangible feeling of Autumn outside today! Football season, back to school, and the start of that roller coaster that goes Labor Day-Halloween-Thanksgiving-CHRISTMAS! Big Art Blessings can help you with that one special, perfect Christmas gift this year. Now is the time to get that art together! :)

One of the highlights of the Fall Season here in the Birmingham, Alabama area is the Moss Rock Festival -- We have been invited to have a booth there this year! If you are in the area, please come visit our booth -- http://www.mossrockfestival.com/. The festival is held in the beautiful Moss Rock Preserve, free to the public, very family friendly... you will be in store for great music, good food, a wonderful place for the kids to run and play, and especially many artists and ideas you don't want to miss! November 7-8, details on the festival website.

Some clients love to have their art grouped by years.  Other clients love to showcase their favorite, special pieces of art from many different years.  Lacey's art spans more than a decade, and it will always mean a lot to her and her family to see her spectacular giraffe and wonderful flamingo alongside her preschool handprints and sweet lady reindeer.  This is a great example of how Lacey's mom's persistence in saving all her favorite pieces all those years has now paid off with a showcase piece they treasure in their home.

Big Art Blessings is ready for a busy fall season! After a wild summer of kids home, island visits, home remodeling because of a flood, costume designing for a wonderful stage production of Beauty and the Beast, we are grateful to be back full time! Yesterday, it was very gratifying to see our collages on the walls of the local hospital we have been working with... the employees should be so proud of themselves for raising the money to brighten the rooms, having their kids and their communities submit artwork, and leading the effort to make the atmosphere cheery and fun. The collages looked great on the walls! Pictures coming soon. Now, back to business....
