When collages come to life!

We've been updating our website lately, and it just became clear: the magic of the collages starts when you hang them on the wall. They literally come to life! The gallery pictures of the collages don't do them justice. We've heard that many times from clients! Now that the hospital collages are being hung they are finding that to be true too.

Two kids, One collage

We recently had the pleasure to work with artwork from a brother/sister team! Maimie and John David created beautiful, colorful art with lots of handprints... many fun nature-inspired pieces, with caterpillars and butterflies galore. Combining their art onto one collage worked fabulously! Thanks, Maimie and John David, for sharing your talent with everyone!

Collages, collages everywhere!

What an experience to tackle a large order of collages at one time! If this keeps up, we will need to realize our dream of moving out of our home-based facility and into a big place! In the meantime, be careful where you step.... :)

Taking the show on the road

Are there child labor laws on Dauphin Island? I hope not, because Nick put in some time yesterday getting the art panels smooth as a baby's bottom! I guess a beach vacation is appropriate payment. We brought a load of collage panels to the island to prep, in between exploring, fishing, and visiting the local alligator. Now we are thinking there should be a Big Art Blessings/Dauphin Island office!

Brook and Austin's collages

We just delivered collages to O'Hair, the best place in Hoover to get your hair done! These went to Missy, the proud mom of Brook and Austin. Their collages were great examples of how the personalities of the kids shines through their artwork. :) Austin's has a great Grateful Dead-ish Guitar Hero guy on it, along with a hammerhead shark and a love letter to Mom! Brook's collage has the curliest, swirliest, girliest Raggedy Ann ever made, created with cursive words. Both Austin and Brook are talented artists! They have enough art for many more collages. :)
